Welcome to the website for the Belfast and District Beekeepers Association.

Next Meeting 11th October

It is hoped that our next meeting will take place as a face to face meeting in Glenburn Hall (see below) on Monday 11th October 2021 @ 7.30pm. The meeting will feature a Mini Honey Show with judge Jim Fletcher, one of our members and a well recognised and respected honey judge throughout the UK, who has very kindly agreed to undertake the judging of several categories on the night. A list of the classes that we will be included in the show has been circulated by email. On the night Jim will give a brief chat on the honey show and what he looks for when judging show entries. The judging will take place while a Show and Tell is session will be given by our members and Jim will return to announce the winners at the end. It would be great to see plenty of entries on what has been an excellent year for our bees.
