The Belfast and District Honey Show was the first such show in Northern Ireland and was therefore known as “The Northern Ireland Honey Show”. This title is retained although there are now more such shows. Most of the local UBKA affiliated associations run honey shows in the late summer/autumn. These have a wide range of classes for the novice through to the expert and are a good place to meet other beekeepers, chat and buy honey.
